The Future Healthcare Management in Europe (FHME) is an EIT Health campus activity that is aimed to improve the capabilities of healthcare managers and leaders.

Characteristics of thematic sessions
Content
: Each session will focus on a topic referring to one or various FHME competencies.
Duration: 1h 30min
Methodology: The case method is the proposed approach.
Participants: 20 healthcare top managers
Profile: Hospital CEOs, divisional and medical directors.
Trainers: Faculty from IESE and FHME partners.
Cost: Free for Congress Participants. Materials and teaching costs are covered by FHME. 
Applicant selection: Registration
Diploma: Participants will receive a diploma by EIT Health and IESE

Project partners

  • FHME in 2018 has 5 core partners that bring experience to the project:
  • IESE Business School (CHRIM)
  • Karolinska Institutet (KI)
  • Ghent University 
  • Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA)
  • Medical University of Łódź (MUL)

FHME thematic sessions are:

  • very short learning activities that combine learning and debate;
  • addressed to a selected group of healthcare managers;
  • focus on a selected challenge or topic of healthcare management;
  • organised in collaboration with healthcare management associations.

Goals of thematic sessions are:

  1. increasing the capabilities of healthcare leaders and managers in various regions of Europe in the selected topics;
  2. increasing the awareness and interest of healthcare managers and leaders in training in new competencies for leadership, innovation, transformation and management of future healthcare organisations;
  3. an opportunity to disseminate EIT Health to healthcare managers and leaders, so they can connect with EIT Health innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives.
